There will be shuttles going to and from Grand Beach Hotel Surfside.
One shuttle that will be picking everyone up before the wedding and one shuttle that take everyone back to the hotel.
We will send out a text to all guests on which exact time to take the shuttle to the wedding, please go with the shuttle you’ve been assigned.
The shuttle back to the hotel will run every hour starting 10.30pm with the last shuttle leaving 1.15am.
Please note: If you would need to leave before then it would require Uber but it’s only a 8 minute ride back to the hotel from the venue.

What is the dress code for the wedding?
For the day of the wedding the dresscode is Black Tie Optional/Formal. It’s already quite warm in Miami in April, so consider wearing something light, flowy, or breathable. :) The most important thing is that you feel gorgeous, but if you want some more inspiration for the dress code we have put together a mood board below to help you get going.
Are children welcome?
We would love to hang with your kids any other weekend! :)

What if I have a speech or something else I want to do for the wedding couple?
In Sweden, we have a role called The Toastmaster in our wedding parties. The Toastmaster handles the microphone during dinner and makes sure the toasts don’t get out of hand. If you want to make a toast, or contribute in any way to the wedding please email our lovely wedding planner Hanna at hanna@freddyweddings.com so she can coordinate with our Toastmaster.

Can I bring a +1?
If you did not receive a +1 on your invite, you cannot bring a +1. We look forward to seeing you at the event!
How do we get around? Are there any shuttles?
The venues and hotel we’ve chosen are within a 1 mile radius so it’s easy and quick to Uber, however, there will be one shuttle to and from the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside—before and after the event.
If I’m arriving earlier in the week, do you have any suggestions of what do to?
Yes, of course we do!
Biking! Most hotels have bikes to borrow, there’s also rentals and Citi Bike stations throughout the island. A bike path runs continuously along the sand from top to bottom of the island. It’s the best way to travel, especially if there’s traffic.
Restaurants! Brunch: Market @ the Edition Hotel, Issabella’s on Lincoln Rd., Veranda @ the Faena Hotel, Lunch: Lido @ the Standard Hotel, Monty’s South Beach, Ocean Grill @ the Setai Hotel. Dinner: Makoto @ Bal Harbor Shops, Editor Ristorante & Pizza, Ocean Social @ the Nobu Hotel.
Other Neighborhoods! You need a car but here’s our favorite spots on the mainland: Coconut Grove, Miami Design District, Brickell.
Shopping! Bal Harbor Shops, Brickell City Centre, Lincoln Road, Downtown Coconut Grove, Aventura Mall.
